Concierge mental health assessment and diagnostic evaluation
Some people do not need to start therapy. They need to know what they are dealing with. That is a distinct service, and treating it as one produces a far better answer than letting a diagnosis accumulate informally over months of sessions.
This is an in-depth clinical evaluation that ends in a clear diagnostic synthesis and a structured roadmap — including a candid account of what remains uncertain and what further evaluation would resolve it.
Clinical approach
In-depth clinical interview and synthesis
The evaluation is built on comprehensive clinical interviewing: symptom history and course, functional impact across work and relationships, prior treatment and its results, family history, substance use, sleep, and medical context. Complex presentations are usually complex because several of these interact.
What you receive is a written synthesis that delineates exact care pathways rather than locking you into a generic treatment template. You are free to take that roadmap to any provider you choose — beginning therapy here is not a condition of the assessment.
What the work tends to cover
- Comprehensive diagnostic interview and written synthesis
- Second opinion on an existing or contested diagnosis
- Differential clarification across overlapping conditions
- Functional impact documentation
- A structured, provider-agnostic care roadmap
- Referral to psychological testing where objective data is needed
Scope of care
Diagnostic evaluation is provided when it falls within the scope of my professional license and clinical training. Where a question requires formal psychological or neuropsychological testing, I will say so directly and coordinate a referral to a qualified testing provider.
