Online therapy for bipolar disorder and mood concerns

Mood conditions reward precision. The difference between a depressive episode, a mixed state, and a long-running pattern of cyclical instability changes what treatment should look like — and that distinction is frequently missed when only the low periods get clinical attention.

This work centers on careful outpatient evaluation and on building a shared, durable record of your mood architecture over time: what your episodes look like from the inside, what precedes them, and what has actually helped.

Clinical approach

Evaluation, tracking, and coordinated care

Sessions combine structured evaluation with longitudinal tracking, so patterns that are invisible week to week become visible across months. Therapy focuses on early warning signs, sleep and routine stability, and the specific decisions that tend to accelerate an episode.

Because effective care for mood disorders is usually a team effort, coordination is part of the work rather than an afterthought. Where medication is part of your treatment, I communicate directly with your prescriber with your written authorization.

What the work tends to cover

  • Comprehensive outpatient diagnostic evaluation
  • Episode mapping and early warning sign identification
  • Sleep, routine, and stability planning
  • Direct coordination with your psychiatric prescriber
  • Second-opinion clarification on an existing diagnosis
  • Referral pathways when care needs to step up

Scope of care

I provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation and tailored therapy for appropriate clients. When symptoms escalate or require active medication adjustments, medical detoxification, residential placement, intensive outpatient care, or urgent crisis intervention, I proactively coordinate direct referrals to trusted psychiatric providers and appropriate higher levels of acute care.
